Choosing an adapter

  • For data on a server or NAS, use local storage, SFTP, SMB, or WebDAV.
  • For object storage, use S3 after confirming API compatibility.
  • For an existing cloud drive account, select its adapter and follow the supported authorization method.
  • For files managed by another service, use AList, OpenList, Foxel, Seafile, or Cloudreve.

Telegram uses message attachments and cannot create directories, move, rename, or copy files. Other adapters also depend on remote permissions, quotas, and implementation limits; see their guides.

Documentation sources

Fields and limitations were checked against the Foxel adapters. Authorization and service background also reference the OpenList documentation and AList documentation. Specific links appear in each guide. Their driver-specific settings cannot be copied directly into Foxel.
