AList

Mount aggregated directories through AList /api/fs/* endpoints, using anonymous access or an account.

Adapter type: alist. See Common configuration for mounting instructions.

Setup

  1. Configure storage in AList first and verify listing and downloading in its web UI.
  2. Set base_url to the site address, keeping any deployment subpath but without adding /api or /dav.
  3. Supply both username and password for authenticated access, or leave both blank and grant the guest access to the target directory.
  4. Set root to a remote aggregated path such as /media.

Configuration

Username and password must be supplied together or both left blank.

FieldTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
base_urlstringYes—Full HTTP(S) service URL; use the site address or protocol endpoint described below.
usernamestringNo—Remote account username.
passwordpasswordNo—Remote account password.

timeoutnumberNo30Request or connection timeout in seconds.
enable_direct_download_307booleanNofalseAllow HTTP 307 redirects to an upstream download URL; the client must be able to reach it.

Example

This is a config object. In the admin form, fill the corresponding fields rather than pasting the whole object. Replace credential placeholders with your own values.

json
{
  "base_url": "https://alist.example.com",
  "username": "foxel",
  "password": "YOUR_PASSWORD",
  "root": "/media",
  "timeout": 30,
  "enable_direct_download_307": false
}

Behavior and limitations

  • This adapter uses the AList V3-compatible file API rather than WebDAV.
  • Browsing, uploads, deletion, moves, and copies depend on remote account permissions and the underlying driver.
  • Redirect downloads use the remote raw_url. Clients must reach that URL; keep redirects disabled if upstream cookies, headers, or IP restrictions prevent access.

Troubleshooting

  • Guest access denied: check whether the guest is enabled and can access the target directory.
  • Credentials must be paired: supply both fields or leave both empty.
  • Listings work but downloads fail: test the underlying storage on the remote instance and check its download URL requirements.
