OpenList
Mount aggregated directories through OpenList /api/fs/* endpoints, using anonymous access or an account.
Adapter type: openlist. See Common configuration for mounting instructions.
Setup
- Configure storage in OpenList first and verify listing and downloading in its web UI.
- Set
base_urlto the site address, keeping any deployment subpath but without adding/apior/dav. - Supply both username and password for authenticated access, or leave both blank and grant the guest access to the target directory.
- Set
rootto a remote aggregated path such as/media.
Configuration
Username and password must be supplied together or both left blank.
| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
base_url | string | Yes | — | Full HTTP(S) service URL; use the site address or protocol endpoint described below. |
username | string | No | — | Remote account username. |
password | password | No | — | Remote account password. |
root | string | No | "/" | Directory on the backend, separate from the mount path displayed in Foxel. |
timeout | number | No | 30 | Request or connection timeout in seconds. |
enable_direct_download_307 | boolean | No | false | Allow HTTP 307 redirects to an upstream download URL; the client must be able to reach it. |
Example
This is a config object. In the admin form, fill the corresponding fields rather than pasting the whole object. Replace credential placeholders with your own values.

"base_url": "https://openlist.example.com",

"enable_direct_download_307": false
}
Behavior and limitations
- This adapter uses the AList V3-compatible file API rather than WebDAV.
- Browsing, uploads, deletion, moves, and copies depend on remote account permissions and the underlying driver.
- Redirect downloads use the remote
raw_url. Clients must reach that URL; keep redirects disabled if upstream cookies, headers, or IP restrictions prevent access.
Troubleshooting
- Guest access denied: check whether the guest is enabled and can access the target directory.
- Credentials must be paired: supply both fields or leave both empty.
- Listings work but downloads fail: test the underlying storage on the remote instance and check its download URL requirements.
